Celebrating graduation at HKU πŸŽ‰ class of 2023

We are delighted to celebrate the presentation of certificates for the 210th Congregation at the faculty of Social Sciences. Today is especially meaningful for all of us at Faith in Love because one of the members of the congregation is our very own Rose 🌹 Li Hiu Kuen who we have sponsored for the past 10 years. Rose is presented with her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work today.

Rose, our first beneficiary out of HKU

We are immensely proud of her superb achievement in completing her degree.

about FiL

Our generous donors

Due to the social distancing measures in place in Hong Kong over the past three years, Faith in Love, like many Hong Kong charities have not held any fund raising events since 2019. We were surprised and grateful therefore, that a small scale dinner that was held last week, originally just a board meet, developed into an opportunity to fundraise and share the fruits of our labour over this time. Fabulous piano, cello, and harmonica performances mesmerised our dinner guests. Wonderful wines and prizes were shared and won. Most important of all, new and old friends met and got to know more about Faith in Love and how we serve those in need in Hong Kong.

With an amazing Board, generous supporters, and mighty volunteers, nothing shall stand in our way. Cheers to all the wonderful work you do, and the love πŸ’• that you give.

Happy Chinese New Year 🧧 of the Rabbit πŸ‡

A tree that’s over 2000 years old

As we enter into the energetic and youthful year of the Rabbit, I would like to take this opportunity to express our appreciation to the life giving trees that have populated our earth since time immemorial. Landmasses have shifted over millions of years and these last precious forests 🌳 remain. Sustaining lifeforms large and small. For all these that have been created and shared with us humans, a mere speck in the Universe, for all these, we are grateful πŸ₯Ή
