🏮Our newest Oh English! session began on a festive note as we celebrated the Lantern Festival with six wonderful girls. Building on over a decade of connecting with and supporting girls in our community since 2012, this session started with warmth, laughter, and meaningful cultural learning.
Throughout the afternoon, the girls participated in guessing traditional lantern riddles while learning about the customs and significance of the Lantern Festival. The highlight came when everyone enjoyed authentic Lei Sha Tangyuan and Tang Bu Shuai (glutinous rice balls)—traditional treats that made the celebration even more special. 🌈
What touched our tutors most wasn’t just the riddles solved or treats shared, but the genuine smiles and joy radiating from each girl. These connections—built through language, culture, and shared experience—are at the heart of what we do at Faith in Love. ❤️❤️
We’re grateful for these moments and excited for what the rest of this session will bring.
