Bernice is an international performance actor, philanthropist, and renowned management consultant to the global hospitality industry.
An entrepreneur, she owns various food and beverage outlets including RACKS (bar restaurant) and CRFT (a central kitchen). She is also the founder of her own boutique winery business BELLAVIZIO. During COVID, the F&B industry was greatly affected by social distancing measures which inspired her to create the e-commerce business winemaven.io. She was featured in the “Listen To Her” segment for SCMP, speaking on the pandemic and its effect on the wine business with over 420K views. Bernice has been inducted into the Commanderie du Bontemps, Commanderie de Bordeaux, Commanderie du Coteaux de Champagne as Officier. In addition, she has been bestowed the role of a Cavaliere of the Order of the Knights of the Truffle and Wines of Alba. She is also a certified sommelier of the Hong Kong and Greater China region and is an active member of the Association of Disciples Escoffier International. She has judged various sommelier and wine competitions throughout Asia including the Cathay Hong Kong International Wine and Spirit Competition.
Prior to her foray into wine, she was an international performance artist with a successful acting career at TVB Hong Kong. Thrusted into international stardom as an entertainer she was keen to use her fame for a good cause, regularly supporting various children’s charities and her heritage home, linking the Chinese Communities and organizations in Vancouver BC to Shunde, China. She was awarded the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medallion for her work locally, regionally, and internationally.
Never one to sit still, the opportunities of digital assets has pushed Bernice into the world of NFT curation for art and wine. Bringing her online community-building skills to the Art and Sustainability committee, she complements the traditional craft skills of other members of the group and inspires us to create sustainable contributions in the digital sphere.
