In an era of ubiquitous smartphone technology, digital navigation has become our default. Yet this dependency carries hidden vulnerabilities: depleted batteries, lost signal, unexpected detours, and moments of disorientation can leave travelers stranded without solutions. By contrast, mastering traditional navigation tools—reading paper maps and using a compass—equips our girls with practical resilience and deeper geographical literacy.
